Today I'm reviewing another stamping plate Born Pretty Store sent me. I think the design I created would have been better suited to Halloween but because they're so bright and shiny I think they could be classed as party nails too!

I've used holo top coats before which work amazingly, but did you know you can also get holographic nail foil which does the same thing? Born Pretty Store were kind enough to send me some holo nail foil* to try out.

My Quick + Easy Nail Care Routine!

Hello everyone!

Bit of a different post today. I've been asked by a few people to do a nail care routine video so that's what I'll be showing you today.

As part of my routine I used to use a gel cuticle remover but I used to find I would get hangnails more often so I stopped using it. Now the main thing I use is almond oil and as you can see from the photo below, it really helps to moisturise the nails and skin! As I'm still trying to catch up on the nail art challenges I'm taking part in this month, I decided to combine the next 2 themes of the Glam Nails Challenge, 'Chalkboard' and 'Aztec' and created an aztec pattern on a chalkboard! I'm so pleased with how this design turned out. I freehanded everything using nail art pens and it was surprisingly easy to do!

Hello everyone!

I'm running a bit behind with the nail art challenges I'm taking part in this month. The next theme for the Weekly Nail Art Challenge is 'Pearl'. I struggled with this theme because I had no idea how to create this effect on my nails. I don't have any pearl nail art decorations or any white pearlescent polish, but after a quick google search I found that you can get pearls in a range of colours such as purple, green and orange. This gave me the idea to use some of my duochrome polishes from the Barry M Aquarium collection for this design. After searching through my nail polish collection, I also found Rimmel Black Pearl which looks just like it's name suggests.

I've done this design before using the same stamping plate but I decided to do a rainbow gradient and added a bit of sparkle to this design. So to start off, I'll be showing you what I did for the first theme of the Glam Nails Challenge which is watermelon. I did a classic ruffian watermelon design that a lot of other bloggers have done before. It's so cute and summery!

I love the look of water marble nails but I hate how long they take to create! So when I saw people creating water marble stickers, I had to give it a go to see if that was any easier.

The bulb of my daylight lamp had blown and the spare I had was broken so these photos were taken in natural daylight (which was hard to find as it was a horrible rainy day!). Also, as I was in a rush, I didn't have time to set up my camera so there is no video tutorial for this design :( I'll try and explain what I did as best I can below!
