1 Year Blogiversary - Galaxy Nails!

Hello everyone!

Today is my one year Blogiversary and I was so surprised that I've been blogging for a year already! The time has gone so fast but I have loved it so much! :) For today's post I decided I would go and re-do the galaxy nails I did for the very first post on my blog. These galaxy nails were inspired by this gorgeous necklace I bought from Born Pretty Store.

I painted all my nails with Rimmel Blue Vogue. Then sponged on Rimmel Black Pearl, Barry M Cobalt Blue, Barry M Blueberry Ice Cream and OPI Alpine Snow. The glitter is China Glaze Fairy Dust and the dots were made with Alpine Snow and a small dotting tool. I top coated everything with Seche Vite.

I love these nails so much and haven't been able to stop staring at them lol! :) I think my nail art (and photography skills) have improved so much from when I first started blogging. Also the lighting in my photos is so much better - I now have a daylight lamp so I'm not totally dependent on it being sunny outside! Having people read and comment on my posts has been so lovely and really means a lot to me and it has motivated me to keep posting more nail art.

Let me know what you think of these galaxy nails and if you want a tutorial and I'll be back soon with some more nail art!

UPDATE! TUTORIAL FOR THIS DESIGN HERE :)

  2. Do you wait for each layer to dry?
Particularly, do you wait for things to dry before you put the glitter layer on or do you smudge them?

    1. I waited for the dark blue base colour to dry fully before sponging on the galaxy design. The galaxy is sponged on in such thin layers that it dries very quickly and I didn't have to wait before applying the glitter :)

  3. Can you do a tutorial of the trapical ones and a Mickey one too?
