Classy Water Marble Flowers

Hello everyone!

I've been loving all the sunshine we've been having in the UK recently and although today seems to be a bit grey I had a go at doing some floral nails. The last time I did floral nails was exactly one year ago to the day when I tried creating some roses on my nails! This time I thought I'd try some water marble flowers. I realise the colours aren't very spring-like but I still love how they turned out!

I painted all my nails using Barry M Black. Then on my middle and ring finger I used some of the Models Own Colour Chromes for the water marble flowers and they worked so well! I used Models Own Cerise, Indigo and Green. I used OPI Alpine Snow and a dotting tool just to make some small dots in the centre of each flower. For the rest of my nails I added a small gold stud from Born Pretty Store and I used Seche Vite top coat over everything.

I took about 50 pictures of these nails and this was the only decent one - all the others had too much reflection on my nail covering the design! Does this happen to anyone else?! It's also the first photo I've taken in natural daylight in a while.

I wrote a post a while ago about some tips on water marbling but I think I'll be doing an updated version soon as I've found some other things that worked well for me and might for you too!

Let me know what you think and I'll be back soon with some more nail art!
