Easter Egg Nails

Hello everyone!

I haven't done any brightly coloured designs for a while and so I thought I would do a spring nail art design using a stamping plate* Born Pretty Store sent me. The design looks like Easter eggs to me!

There are a ton of designs on this plate which I was pleased about. I decided to go for the design on the far right.

I used OPI Alpine Snow underneath Barry M Lemon Ice Cream to make the yellow really pop. Then I stamped the design using Models Own Cerise from the Colour Chrome Collection. I used a nail striper dipped in Cerise to draw the 2 horizontal lines and topped everything off with a coat of Seche Vite top coat. The design is a tad on the messy side but that's mainly because I need to practice making neat lines with a nail striper!

Whilst I do like the designs on this stamping plate, none of them would cover my whole nail and so this plate is probably more suited for shorter nails if you want to do designs that cover the whole nail. That being said you can easily do these designs on part of the nail like I did and they look great!

Update: On the Born Pretty site they seem to have updated some of their stamping plates and this plate now has fewer designs but they are larger so that's good!

You can buy this stamping plate for $2.99.

I also have a 10% off code that you can use at Born Pretty Store - use "ZZYX31" at checkout :)

Let me know what you think and I'll be back soon with some more nail art!
