Born Pretty Store Water Decals Review

Hello everyone!

Eeep! I've been so busy lately it's been really difficult for me to find time to blog. And I have missed it so much! But today I have a review of the other item Born Pretty Store sent me - water decals! I've never used decals before so I was excited to try them out!

The item name is Nail Art Water Decals Transfer Stickers Pink Arabesque Pattern Sticker H030*

I used Barry M White and put a coat of Barry M Crystal Glaze over the top. Then I applied the decal and Seche Vite top coat. These were so difficult to photograph! My camera just would not pick up the colour of the decal plus it was a grey rainy day so the lighting was not the best - sorry about that! These were the best photos though I'm still not 100% happy with them. In real life they were slightly brighter than this and the flakes were much more visible.

There were 20 decals in the pack and they came with instructions on the back on how to apply them - you cut out the decal you want to use, remove the plastic film, hold it in water for 20 seconds, use your finger to slide the decal off the paper. Then just apply it on your nail and press it down! Simples! You can use tweezers if you want to help place the decal.

The only thing I didn't like with these decals were the fact that the colours were very pale. I would have liked the colours to be slightly more vibrant. The actual decals themselves applied beautifully and the design was very pretty. This plus the fact they were so quick to do means I will definitely be buying water decals in the future! :)

These water decals cost $2.86. Born Pretty have a ton of other water decals which you can check out here.

Let me know what you think and I'll be back soon with some more nail-related stuff!
