For those of you who struggle with water marbling there is a solution! I was sent a stamping plate* by Born Pretty Store and one of the designs on there immediately caught my eye. I knew I had to do some water marble style nails and this is how they turned out!
Hope you're having a good day. Today I tried out one of the easiest nail art techniques ever - the very aptly named blobbicure! I saw a few people doing this design on Instagram recently and had to give it a go!
I haven't done any brightly coloured designs for a while and so I thought I would do a spring nail art design using a stamping plate* Born Pretty Store sent me. The design looks like Easter eggs to me!
Today's post will be a swatch post which I don't do very often but Models Own has just released their new Colour Chrome Collection and I knew I had to get my hands on them! I took advantage of the 50% off sale on their website last week.
The days are slowly getting longer and I can't wait for it to be summer! So I've done some leopard print nails with a bit of negative space thrown in - it may be cold and wintry outside but at least my nails can be summery! :)
So as promised I have the tutorial for the galaxy nails I did last month. You can watch the video below. If you decide to recreate these nails please #nailsbykizzy on Instagram as I would love to see them! :) Also if you fancy you can subscribe to my YouTube channel as I'll be posting more tutorials on there soon!
Last week I bought Barry M Greenberry which is a really gorgeous minty green colour and I wanted to use it in the gradient design which I've done today. This design really reminds me of unicorns - I think it has something to do with the pastel rainbow gradient :)
So as you can probably guess from the title I have uploaded my very first YouTube tutorial and it's of the Blue Ombre Stripes design I did back in October. I've been wanting to start doing video tutorials for some of my designs for a while now and have only managed to find time now! I'm still trying to work out the best setup for filming the tutorials but hopefully I'll improve as I go! Anyway you can watch the video below. I'm also editing a tutorial for the galaxy nails I did last month so those should be up on my YouTube channel in the next week too!
Let me know what you think and I'll be back soon with some more nail art!
It's my first nail art design of 2015 and to start it off I've done a sparkly lace design. I have never attempted freehand lace nail art before as it looks so complex so I was really happy when Born Pretty Store sent me this lace stamping plate* to try out!
I hope you all had a wonderful New Year! I've been seeing lots of bloggers do their favourite nail art designs of 2014 and I thought this was a really good idea so I've decided to do the same! I thought I would just start with the oldest first :)
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas! For New Years Eve I was planning on doing nails with loads of glitter and something just generally very sparkly but I really didn't want to remove the galaxy nails I've had on for the past week. So instead I've modified my galaxy nails slightly and that's what I'll be wearing on New Years Eve :)
Today is my one year Blogiversary and I was so surprised that I've been blogging for a year already! The time has gone so fast but I have loved it so much! :) For today's post I decided I would go and re-do the galaxy nails I did for the very first post on my blog. These galaxy nails were inspired by this gorgeous necklace I bought from Born Pretty Store.
Today I've got some Christmassy nail art to show you! It's my first Christmas design of the year and I thought I would start it off by incorporating a gradient into the design :)
Today I have a review of a stamping plate (Qgirl-013)* which Born Pretty Store sent me! This is such a pretty stamping plate and when I saw it I knew I wanted to do an autumnal nail art design.
